My Heart Swells

My son bought me a ring. We were at the gumball machines inside a restaurant and my son had 50 cents to spend. He did opt to spend quarter number one on a gumball for himself. What kid wouldn't? Quarter number two went into a ring machine and this is what came out. He bounded over and gave it to me. It fit perfectly, and is actually quite hardy and does not bend like the usual ones do. I have worn it out and enjoy it very much. He loves to see me wearing it and is proud to have given it to me. I love the fact that it is an "X" that reminds me of the X's and O's in kisses and hugs.

How touching! He's learning the pride it feels to give to others and see them enjoy that gift. He sounds like a very charming little boy!

It doesn't really look like a bubble gum machine ring. How sweet! I'm sure it thrills him to see you wear it.

How sweet and special! The gifts from my sons and granddaughers are the best gifts of all! And by the way, when I first looked at it I thought it was real so much so that I was wanting one!

I do think children often give what they get...
Your son did a wonderful, kind, thoughtful thing ...but then I would think he has a wonderful, kind, thoughtful mother who has led by example!

Cheers
