Field Days Fun

Once a year we go as a family to the local field days. Growing up it was a fun tradition and now our kids love it too.

Ticket booth line. Ready to hand over the wallet.

The workers running the rides. Heavy metal t-shirts required, scowls and criminal records optional.

Wetness. And yet the rides continue to run....

The Hurricane. No fear.

Gravitational pull at work. Super gray skies.

The best part. Pizza and fried dough!

Powder face. Delighted!

Luckily, kids don't care if it rains and still want to go. Thankfully, we found a small dry spell last Friday and were able to pick local strawberries. Homemade jam and chocolate covered strawberries are yummy!

Diane: What a fun time for your famiily! Your children are beautiful. You will cherish these memories for many years.

We have a Honebee Festival in our county. The festival is a new idea for us West Coasters; we've only lived in the Midwest nine years.

Blessings,
Jen
