I'm Here For You Giveaway #4

I hate winter, so I decided to do a stay warm for winter gift pack to gear up for the cold. Things to keep you warm in the upcoming months......First, a book of your choice from the above selections to warm the mind. Inspiration, Romance or Adventure? All are either new or gently read.
Secondly, things to warm the insides. Good Earth "Sweet & Spicy" Tea, (my all-time favorite), Gevalia "Blueberry Creme" ground coffee, and finally Canterbury Naturals "Vanilla, Peppermint & Chocolate" Cocoa mixes.

I would love to hear your thoughts on what's good about winter in the comment section. Please leave me a comment, and consider signing up to be a follower if you're not already. All comments must be received by November 8th in order to qualify and the results will be posted on the November 9th post. Good luck to all my blogger/facebook friends!

My number one reason I like winter...is NO more sandals, flip flops or other toe showing footwear. Personally, I hate feet. I hate looking at other people's feet. I am so glad people are going to start wearing real shoes. No more being grossed out by toes. Yay for winter. *grin*

I love winter, until mid-January, then I'm ready to be done. I love the smell of anything baking in the oven and a cup of hot cocoa as I watch the fluffy flakes fall to the ground. Of course, as long as I don't have to drive in it.... :)

Gosh, Diane,

I could go on and on about what's GOOD about winter. I love having a fire in the fireplace, making hot cocoa, and playing games with the family during a blizzard.

I adore the hushed white beauty of the morning after a new snow.

Do I get any of that here in Florida. No way. Do I wish I did? Sigh. Yes. I miss it. I miss the 4 seasons. So enjoy your winter, knowing you could live somewhere where it's always HOT.

The first snowfall (notice the word first). :D Really though, watching the snow come down and looking up to a whitewashed sky of flurrying flakes. Pretty.

I love sunny winter days where the snow is white and crisp (before it gets sludgy!)... walking in Hudson River Park, sitting on a bench with takeaway hot cocoa, wearing striped knitted legwarmers and scarves! And of course the ice skating! Love the Wollman rink! :)

Oooh! I've been wanting to buy "Feel the Heat" by Cindy Gerard. So, count me in!

What I think I'm starting to love most about winter is the lack of creepy crawly things, you know, like snakes, bugs, insects, and so forth. But it's also a great time of year to snuggle up with loved ones the couch under a big, warm blanket and vegetate in front of the TV!

What a fun giveaway. I like the snow that comes with winter. We usually don't get much but even a small amount is beautiful. Can't wait to see it covering the trees and yard, staying warm inside, and having a great cup of tea and a good book to read.

I like winter because I can cook with the wood stove, then curl up beside it with a book or knitting project. I love cross-country skiing, so if the snow is good I enjoy that about winter too. Also, there aren't any mosquitoes in the winter.

Oh, I love all the seasons, always ready for the next to arrive, but I have to say that winter is my favorite. I love the look of glistening snow, making forts in it, and curling up with hot chocolate in front of the fire afterward. I'm also one of those gals who loves to wear warm fuzzies, and winter gives me that opportunity!

Oh What's good about winter... yikes. I'll have to think about that... Yeah, I got nothing, sorry. I do like when it snows on Christmas. Makes the holidays feel like a comfortable couch, worn in and ready for you :)

Seriously though- I don't like winter- it lasts too long over here!

Great post, that hot cocoa looks yummy!

Winter Humm have to think on it. Guess the best is warming by a cozy fire with a honey & a glass of wine! However I wont have either this year since hubby died.
Have to go up north during the season and have a snowball fight with the grandkids I suppose, or how about sledding! love that too.
Haven't spent a whole winter in FLa, maybe I wil;l have to get out my winter coat! sometime TEEHEE
I love that blueberry tea too. I do think an aquired taste though.

Great giveaway! A good thing about winter is time spent together in the house! And of course we get the holidays thrown in!

to be honest I am not much of a winter lover, in fact a harsh IL winter is what made me decide in Dec 08 that I had had enough winter...

But what I do like... the first REAL snow fall and bonus when to comes at night... to me there is nothing better than that first real snow, several shove-able inches fallen by night time, going out in the peace of the night and shoveling the driveway and walks... its so still and so quite and the beauty and stillness of the snow still falling, covering up the walk you just cleared is like heaven, yes even to this non-winter liking gal...then coming inside with chilled fingers, toes and a nose and making some hot chocolate.. AHHHH yes!

The best part of winter is getting the boards games back out. Settlers of Catan anyone??? I miss playing with you already! Maybe my better half misses you too!

I live in Missouri and I am hard pressed to compliment winter, but I will try. Winter provides momentary beautiful snow scenes. I get to wear different clothes than in the summer. The best part of winter in MO is that that winter will soon turn into spring. sorry that's the best I could do.

Now I must go look at your Mustangs.
