Selah.

A fast of sorts to slow down.

I've decided for the next five days to not blog, not tweet and not facebook. Too wrapped up in this computer. I will be checking my e-mail for any such emergencies.

Just need to pause and make sure my focus is where it should be. The holidays are coming, are we physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally ready?

I am planning to do this very thing, but a little later down the line. It will take courage, but it's necessary.

Enjoy your computer-rest. It is a busy time of year, and it's so important to keep our lives focused and rested so that we are tuned in to the meanings of the holidays. Have a good week ...

You are absolutely right. I have been trying to avoid fb or at least cut back. I get too wrapped up in fb and also in bejeweled. *sigh :) Blogging doesn't seem to be a time drain for me anymore. It's fb that does it. I hope it works out for you and we'll see you in a few days or so!

I did that this weekend, kind of. Will be praying as you slow...sending you hugs from Cali's shores. :)

Go ahead, relax, restore and rejoice. I don't think I'm ever ready for the holidays, but love them anyway! Blessings, dear.

Good point. I've been feeling guilty about not being able to read as many blogs as I'd like lately but life gets in the way sometimes. And that's a good thing!

I did this fast...for about two months. I didn't miss anything except the long-distance companionship of my blog friends. It felt like I added hours of time back into my life everyday. Good luck!
